Digging in the Dirt

I love getting my hands dirty. I try to wear gardening gloves but rarely do they stay on for long. Spring and summer finds my nails cut short and inevitably I've got the remnant of dirt around my nails. Flowers, vegetables, herbs ... I love it all. It's not been every year that I've had the opportunity to garden and I don't claim to be good at it. We're in the States now (as opposed to living as missionaries overseas) and I long for a wonderful little vegetable garden of my own! I have a great, albeit small collection of gardening books and a pretty good sized wish list. Here's a few of these little wonders!
